Another year begins!

Things were a little different this year. Northern Michigan was hit with a severe ice storm in late March. Our cottage (and most of the area) lost power. So we opted to wait till power was back to go to the cottage. That was on April 23^rd.

	Since it took 8 trailer loads of branches and 3 days to clear the yard of broken limbs, I took a break to get the loon nest in.
My friend Randy helped again this year, dragging it out to the chosen location.

Even the shoreline shows some of the damage from the ice storm. It affected many white pines and birch in the area.
	Since all the branch cleanup wasn’t done, I added the buoys the next day.
